Recipe: Green Veggie Smoothie

This is the perfect breakfast smoothie - a balance of greens and fruits to give you the energy you need, and to also keep you satiated all the way to lunch! 


1 cup chopped and stemmed kale
1/2 cup baby spinach
1/2 cup frozen cauliflower
1 cucumber, cut into chunks
1/2 lemon, peeled and cut into chunks
1/4 cup almonds or pili nuts
1 1/2 cups chilled green tea
2 teaspoons chia seeds
2 teaspoons ground flax seed

1. Pour 1 1/2 cups of chilled green tea into your blender or food processor.
2. Add 1 cup of chopped and stemmed kale.
3. Add 1/2 cup baby spinach.
4. Scoop 1/2 cup frozen cauliflower into the blender or food processor.
5. Cut 1 cucumber into chunks and add to the other ingredients.
6. Peel 1/2 lemon and cut into chunks; then add into the blender or food processor.
7. Scoop 1/4 cup of almonds or pili nuts, in with the other ingredients.
8. Finish with 2 teaspoons of chia seeds and 2 teaspoons of ground flax seed.
9. Blend until smooth.
10. Enjoy!
