Eczema prone skin has a weakened barrier, and it flares when that barrier is stressed. Many products meant to help it are full of the very things that set it off.
This oil is our alcohol free alternative to propolis tinctures. It contains only stingless bee propolis and extra virgin olive oil. It soothes itchiness and supports the skin's own repair, without the downsides of long term steroid creams. It spreads easily and absorbs well.
- Soothes dry, itchy and inflamed skin
- Supports a weakened skin barrier
- Does not sting on already irritated skin
- Only two ingredients, cold processed so nothing is cooked out
- Non sticky, non resinous texture
- Gentle enough for children from one year old
Dry, itchy or flare prone skin. Skin that reacts to most things. Parents looking for something simple and natural to use on a child's skin. Patch test first, as with anything new.
Ingredients: Trigona propolis extract, extra virgin olive oil. Net volume 20ml. Contains pollen.
Free from alcohol, antibiotics, propylene glycol, fragrance, essential oils, steroids, synthetic additives and preservatives, all common triggers for eczema prone skin.
Why propolis. Stingless bee propolis is naturally high in bioflavonoids, phenolic compounds and antioxidant enzymes. Published research shows propolis can calm inflammatory pathways linked to eczema, support skin repair, inhibit skin bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus that make eczema worse, and protect skin from the oxidative stress that breaks the barrier down. Trigona propolis has shown up to three times the antioxidant activity of Brazilian propolis.
Why olive oil. Extra virgin olive oil is rich in squalene, vitamin E and oleic acid, which have been studied for strengthening the skin barrier, reducing water loss through the skin, and helping dry, cracked skin recover.

If you have a diagnosed skin condition, keep following your doctor's advice and speak to them before adding anything new.

Two ways, depending on the finish you want.
- Directly, for a protective layer. Apply 1 to 2 drops to the area and spread thinly, two or three times a day. It goes on best after a moisturiser.
- Mixed in, for a less oily feel. Add 1 to 2 drops to your moisturiser and apply to the area.
For general dryness, once a day is enough on any part of the body.
Is it safe for daily use?
Yes. It contains only two natural ingredients, with no steroids, alcohol, fragrance or preservatives, so it suits long term use.
Can it replace steroid creams?
It is not a steroid. Many people use it alongside or after steroid treatment to help maintain results and support barrier recovery. Talk to your doctor about your treatment plan.
Will it sting?
It should not. There is no alcohol in it, and most people find it calming.
Can I use it on my face?
Yes. Patch test on your jaw first and give it a day.
Is it safe for children?
Yes, from one year old.
How long before I see improvement?
Many customers notice a difference within a few days. Chronic eczema may need consistent use over several weeks.
How long does a bottle last?
It depends how much skin you are covering. Used on a small area once or twice a day, most people get 1 to 2 months from a bottle.
